Parents & Guardians, if you are able to make packet pick up at the school today from 9-10:30am we ask you treat it like afternoon pick up. Please come down the one way. We will try to have staff ready so you don't have to exit your car. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

🫘🫔 UPDATE 🫔🫘 We are so sorry to share that due to the current boil advisory and the severe weather expected on Friday, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our Bean Supper Fundraiser. The safety of our families, volunteers, and community comes first, and we want to make sure everyone can attend and enjoy the event safely. We truly appreciate all the support, donations, and time that so many of you have already given to help make this event possible. We will share a new date as soon as it is confirmed. Thank you all for your understanding and continued support.

Mr. Vines’ 8th Grade Algebra class put their data skills to work this week! 📊 Students created a scatter plot comparing height and foot size to see if there was a correlation. It was a fun, real-life way to explore relationships between variables and practice graphing skills. Hands-on math makes learning stick — great job, Algebra students! 👏

Mrs. Day’s preschool class learned about shadows this week! ☀️😎 Students learned what a shadow is and how to make one in the light--both inside and outside. Students also hosted a shadow-hand puppet show. For today’s project, each student created their own paper shadow, measured the height, and decorated the shadow to resemble themselves.

Mr. Vines’ 7th grade Pre-Algebra class took learning outside this week! ☀️📏 Students were putting their skills to the test with indirect measurement, using proportions and similar figures to determine the height of objects around campus. Real-world math in action! Hands-on learning like this helps concepts truly click — and the sunshine didn’t hurt either. Great job, Mr. Vines and 7th grade! 👏📐

After finishing the novel in the fall, our 8th graders had the most amazing opportunity to visit the The Outsiders Museum in Tulsa. Students stepped into an immersive experience that brought the book’s themes, characters, and historical setting to life.

A huge THANK YOU to our PTO for generously sponsoring museum admission and lunch--this memorable trip wouldn’t have been possible without your support!

Mrs. Walker visited Mrs. Hays’ Kindergarten class and brought science to life in the best way! 🪱 Students had a blast learning about living and nonliving things through a hands-on experiment with real earthworms and gummy worms. They observed, compared, and asked such thoughtful questions while discovering what makes something living. It was engaging, a little wiggly, and a whole lot of fun. Thank you, Mrs. Walker, for such a memorable lesson for our kinders!
