Our Whitebead Cheerleaders are headed to competition on Saturday. They have been working with Natalie Arroyo and Abby Dalla Rosa from the Pauls Valley Pom Squad. The girls have had a great time learning a new routine from the Pom girls. Last night at our practice the entire Pauls Valley HS Pom Squad surprised our Chiefs Cheerleaders by coming to watch their routine and offer support and guidance. Loved seeing all the girls come together. Looking forward to watching the girls perform this weekend! 📣

🎃📚 Storybook Pumpkin Decorating Contest! 📚🎃
Pumpkins + Books = Fall Fun!
Fall is here, and pumpkins are everywhere—so let’s bring the pumpkin harvest into our library! We invite families to take part in our Storybook Pumpkin Decorating Contest. Your child will be bringing detailed information home before we dismiss for Fall Break, and a short overview is detailed below.
🍁 How to Join 🍁
1️⃣ Choose a book and read it together as a family.
2️⃣ Pick one character and recreate it on a small, pie-sized pumpkin (artificial pumpkins encouraged).
3️⃣ Decorate with paint, fabric, and creativity—but please no carving or cutting.
4️⃣ One pumpkin per family, please!
📅 Bring your pumpkin, your book, and your entry form to the library Oct. 22–24.
💰 Voting with coins will take place Oct. 27–30, and winners will be announced Nov. 3!
All proceeds benefit the Garvin County chapter of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

The fair will be open each school day and during parent/teacher conferences next Monday and Tuesday evening. We invite families to stop by and explore a great selection of books for all ages!

Starting tomorrow Whitebead will begin a district wide fundraiser. The form to get started is attached. A representative from the company will be here tomorrow morning to help get anyone set up. The money raised with this fundraiser will go to General Activity. This fund helps us support all students. From field trips to classroom supplies! Love to have your support!
