Our students have been working hard on their self-portrait canvas paintings, showcasing not only their artistic talents but also their character traits that make each of them unique and special. 🖌️ Come see their beautiful paintings and the wonderful personalities behind each piece!

REMINDER: Our last pre-enrollment event will take place tonight from 3:30-6:00 in the school auditorium.

Unfortunately the PTO meeting scheduled for tonight at 5:30pm has been canceled. It is rescheduled for Monday April 20th at 5:30pm.

Join us for a special night as our First Grade students make their first art show debut! 🖼️

Kindergarten had an exciting time learning about insects and life cycles! We got to watch caterpillars transform into beautiful butterflies, release ladybugs, and explore how ants live and work together as a team. We even learned about mantises and their unique characteristics. It was such a hands-on and memorable experience for our students! 🐛🦋🐞

State testing begins tomorrow, April 14th!

Our testing schedule is as follows:
• April 14th–20th: 3rd Grade
• April 20th–24th: 4th–5th Grade
• April 27th–May 4th: 6th–8th Grade

Pre-enrollment events are scheduled for all returning and new students. Completing enrollment early helps us prepare class placements, staffing, and resources to best support our students in the coming year.

Water safety is key to preventing accidents and ensuring fun at pools, lakes, and beaches! 🌊

Always supervise children and make sure they wear life jackets when needed. Be aware of swimming conditions and never swim alone. Knowing basic rescue techniques can also help keep everyone safe. Enjoy the water responsibly! #WaterSafety

On Tuesday night, Evan Moreno scored the first goal of the season for the boys team! Tonight, the boys defeated Terra Verde 4-1! Way to go, Chiefs!

Mrs. Watson's 4th graders are digging into fossils this week!

Our 5th–8th grade Gifted & Talented students have been busy getting creative in 3D design classes with our librarian, Mrs. McGuire! Students designed their own creations and brought them to life with 3D printing. Huge thanks to the Pauls Valley Foundation for Academic Excellence for providing the grant that made this 3D printer possible. So proud of our students’ creativity and innovation! 💡👏

Sister teachers, Mrs.Watson and Mrs. Colmenares, showed up matching today without even planning it… how cute is that?! 🥰

The 5/6 grade track meet scheduled for tomorrow at Paul's Valley has been canceled.

We are proud to recognize our Teachers of the Year for each department!

Mrs. Hays has been selected as our PK–2 Teacher of the Year, Ms. Higgins for grades 3–5, and Mrs. Ayres for grades 6–8. We also proudly recognize Mrs. McGuire, our librarian, as our Auxiliary Teacher of the Year.

Each of these educators goes above and beyond every day to support, inspire, and make a difference in the lives of our students. Their dedication, passion, and commitment to excellence truly represent the best of our school.
