Important Message about upcoming school year. This year the Oklahoma State Legislature issued a bell to bell cellphone and "personal electronic device" ban. Students will not be allowed to access their cell phone after the first bell rings until the final bell to end the school day. While we understand this may be an adjustment to some families we do believe it will enhance student focus on learning. Exemptions are available for certain students with qualifying medical conditions or Individualized Educational Plans. Thank you for your cooperation.

Whitebead Schools is excited to announce that it will be offering Middle School Boys & Girls Soccer this upcoming school year!! Soccer will be played in the spring season. The additions of Cross Country and Soccer add to what we already expect to be an amazing 2025-2026 School Year!! Part-Time Middle School Math Position Substitute Training for the 25-26 school year is August 5th, 10am in the school cafeteria. FT/PT Maintenance Position available. Substitute Bus Driving Positions available, training available as well. Contact the office for any questions

REMEMBER to schedule your child's sports physical. They need a physical before they start practices. We apologize that we are unable to have them at the school this year. You can pick up a packet in the office, M-Th 8am-3pm weekly. Thank you!

🏀 We just finished our Whitebead Basketball camp today. Students worked hard, developed new skills, and polished the skills they already had. We had a GREAT CAMP!! 🏀

Wednesday, May 21st at 6pm the Whitebead School Board will have a special board meeting. During that meeting the school board will vote on whether they want to or do not want to sign a resolution asking for a vote by the Paoli school district on the possible annexation of Paoli by the Whitebead School District. Like any school board meeting the public is welcomed and encouraged to attend.

The Fourth graders traveled to the Myriad Botanical Gardens and enjoyed seeing many beautiful plants. They had a special class while there too.

Published Authors entered the Whitebead Building today! First grade students walked into school to find their names in stars throughout the hallway leading to their classrooms. These first graders wrote and illustrated their own class book to have published. They celebrated by walking the red carpet, receiving special awards, and by enjoying their favorite snacks. We are very proud of their accomplishments!

Summer is almost here, so it's time to return all library books! Library notices were sent home again today. If you have questions concerning any overdue books, please contact Mrs. McGuire.
