Wednesday, May 21st at 6pm the Whitebead School Board will have a special board meeting. During that meeting the school board will vote on whether they want to or do not want to sign a resolution asking for a vote by the Paoli school district on the possible annexation of Paoli by the Whitebead School District. Like any school board meeting the public is welcomed and encouraged to attend.

The Fourth graders traveled to the Myriad Botanical Gardens and enjoyed seeing many beautiful plants. They had a special class while there too.
Published Authors entered the Whitebead Building today! First grade students walked into school to find their names in stars throughout the hallway leading to their classrooms. These first graders wrote and illustrated their own class book to have published. They celebrated by walking the red carpet, receiving special awards, and by enjoying their favorite snacks. We are very proud of their accomplishments!

We celebrated and showcased our Kindergarten classes with a wonderful musical performance. They did an amazing job!
Water safety is crucial for preventing accidents and ensuring enjoyable experiences around pools, lakes, and oceans. Understanding the fundamentals of water safety—such as knowing how to swim, using life jackets, and being aware of potential hazards—can significantly reduce the risk of drowning and injuries. Teaching children about safe behaviors in and around water, as well as supervising them closely, is essential. By promoting water safety awareness, we can help everyone enjoy aquatic activities while prioritizing their well-being.
4th grade science students have been studying about volcanoes. They each created their own volcano and invited other classes to come watch as their volcanoes erupted.
Our "Rise and Shine" breakfast really hit the spot today. The yummy fruit, cheese, and bagels were so good. Thank you to our amazing PTO!

The Nora Sparks Warren Library will once again be providing our community with a "Summer Reading Celebration" program. They have released some of the activities that your child can participate in during the months of June and July. It looks like a fun time for all who participate.
We welcomed back our 2020-2021 8th graders this week. They took a walk down the halls of Whitebead and reminisced about the good times. Your Whitebead family loved seeing everyone and we wish you well as you begin your next big adventure. Congratulations to the graduating Senior Class of 2025!
