Summer safety is vital for ensuring that everyone can enjoy the season's activities without unnecessary risks. With increased outdoor time, it's important to be mindful of sun protection, hydration, and safe practices around water and recreational activities. Using sunscreen, staying hydrated, and being aware of heat-related illnesses can help prevent health issues. Additionally, teaching children about safety rules while biking, swimming, or playing outside fosters a culture of awareness and responsibility. By prioritizing summer safety, we can create lasting memories while protecting our well-being.

Being street smart is an essential skill for kids, helping them navigate their environment safely and confidently. It involves understanding how to assess situations, recognize potential dangers, and make informed decisions while out and about. Teaching children about personal safety, awareness of their surroundings, and the importance of trusting their instincts can empower them to handle various situations wisely. By fostering street smarts, we equip kids with the tools they need to stay safe and make responsible choices in their daily lives.

Last night at a special board meeting the Whitebead Board of Education set three public forums. These public forums are an opportunity for the board to hear the input, opinions, and concerns about the possible Whitebead annexation of Paoli. The forums are set for:

Feelin' Groovy Dress Up Day ✌

Whitebead Library has been the happenin' place this week. Our Feelin' Groovy Book Fair wraps up today, and we want to give a shout out to everyone who helped with these far out decorations! Mrs. Babcock, Mrs. Capers, and Whitebead art students lined the hallways with signs and tapestries. Jessica Evans and Tracey Young decorated the library inside and out. We even have a disco ball! Thank you all for sharing your awesome talents! ☮❤📚

State testing can be a stressful time for students, making it even more important to start the day with a nutritious breakfast. Eating a balanced meal in the morning fuels the brain, improves focus, and enhances memory, all of which are essential for performing well on tests. A breakfast rich in whole grains, fruits, and proteins helps maintain energy levels and keeps blood sugar stable, allowing students to tackle challenges with confidence. Prioritizing breakfast not only supports academic success but also promotes overall well-being.

Family night at the book fair will be held tomorrow from 4:00pm -7:30pm. We hope to see you there! ☮❤📚

Join us in celebrating groovy books and cool kids this Friday for our Feelin' Groovy dress up day. ☮❤📚
