🐷🐮🐴 Welcome to Mrs. Wishy Washy’s Farm!🐴🐮🐷 Mrs. Briscoe’s Pre-K class had so much fun bringing their recent story, *Mrs. Wishy Washy’s Farm*, to life! 📚✨ They acted out the story, played their animal roles, and showed off their creativity along the way. What a fun way to bring a good book to life! ❤️📖

Mrs. Day's PK recently had a Guidance lesson about emotions. Kiddos acted out and guessed what emotion everyone was showing. Mrs. Bailey read "I Am Not Happy" by Caroline L. Perry. Students learned what a quokka was from the book, and then they colored a quokka of their own.

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. 🛹🏃‍♂️ Mrs. Ayres' 8th grade science students have been learning about Newton’s 3rd Law of Motion and how forces work in pairs.

The last Book Blast drawing has been decided, and Owen Mathis is the winner of this year's Epic Treasure Chest. Congratulations, Owen!

Seven of our students led us in prayer, and we were so thankful for the wonderful crowd that gathered with us. ❤️ We prayed for our country, our families, our school, our staff, and especially our students. What a special way to begin the day together! 🙏 So proud of our students for stepping up and leading! 💙

Tomorrow is game day! Cheerleaders will be doing the spirit store before school tomorrow from 7:30-7:50 right inside the front door. Go Chiefs!

🇲🇽 Today we celebrated Mexican Independence Day in First Grade! 🇲🇽 We had so much fun learning about and celebrating Mexican culture! Mrs. Shippey read Dragons Love Tacos and helped students make their own sombreros, while Mrs. Prieto helped everyone make their own delicious homemade tortillas! 🌮 Mrs. Prieto also brought Bubu Lubu candy, horchata, and all the yummy ingredients for tacos! It was a fun-filled day of learning, creating, and trying some delicious treats! ❤️🤍💚 ¡Viva México! 🇲🇽

🍎🍏 Our Pre-K classes had a crisp and tasty day with an Apple Tasting! They got to try different kinds of apples, compare flavors, and share their favorites. So many little smiles, curious faces, and “Mmmm!” sounds! ❤️🍎 What a fun way to learn and explore!

🍎Learning is sweet in Mrs. Day’s Pre-K class! This month, students have been exploring all things apples. Our little learners have been busy developing their fine motor skills by building apple trees and creating their own balancing games. So much fun in every lesson!
