Our library and hallways have been transformed into a Hawaiian paradise, and we couldn’t have done it without the help of some amazing people!
🌺 A BIG mahalo to Mrs. Babcock and her Whitebead art students for creating the incredible student artwork that helped bring our theme to life!
🌺 Thank you to Danielle Adams, Cheyenne Casey (and Aubrey), Jessica Evans, Anna Newton, and Tracey Young for pouring so much time, creativity, and personal resources into making our book fair decorations so special!
🌺 And a special thank you to Anna Newton for gifting leis to every student as they previewed the book fair!

🏘️ First Grade is Learning About Our Community! 🚓🚒
This week, our first graders have been learning about our community, the role we play in it, and the important roles others have in keeping our community safe and strong!
We were excited to welcome Sergeant Steven White with the Pauls Valley Police Department. Sergeant White taught our students about safety and his role in our community. He also demonstrated the fingerprinting process, explained how every fingerprint is unique, and each student received their very own Child ID Kit to take home! 👮♂️🖐️
We also had a visit from Lieutenant Stephen Wilkerson with the Pauls Valley Fire Department. He talked with our students about the importance of having a fire safety plan with their families and explained his role in our community. The students even got to tour the ladder truck—and, of course, the sirens and lights were a HUGE hit! 🚒🚨 He also gave each student a special gift to remember his visit.
We are so thankful for these community heroes taking time to visit with our first graders and giving them a hands-on look at the important roles people play in our community. ❤️
Learning about our community is even better when our community comes to us!

Payment on picture day will need to include student name, package details, and exact cash or a check made payable to Tom Jackson Photography.

The Whitebead 8th grade class had a successful day at Brickfest on Saturday! They sold baked goods, homemade ice cream, and gave pony rides. Thank you for coming out and supporting our Chiefs!
🍎🥧 Mrs. Day's PK class made apple pies today. They shared their yummy treats with Mrs. Hayes and topped off treat time with a little whipped cream fun!
🌍🗺️ Our Kindergarten Chiefs had a great time visiting the Giant Africa Map! They explored, learned, and had fun discovering more about the continent of Africa. What a fun way to make learning come to life! ❤️💙
