❤️🤍💙 Red Ribbon Week Coloring Contest! ❤️🤍💙 Our Pre-K through 4th grade students showed off their creativity during our Red Ribbon Week coloring contest! 🎨🖍️ We loved seeing all the colorful artwork and the effort our students put into their entries! A BIG thank-you to the Garvin County Sheriff’s Department for providing Sonic gift card prizes and taking the time to judge our contest! 🦸‍♀️❤️ Superheroes Stand Up Against Drugs! ❤️🦸‍♂️ Our Whitebead Chiefs showed off their superhero spirit for Red Ribbon Week! 💥 Our middle school students also participated in an assembly presented by the PASS Coalition, which provides drug prevention education to help students make informed, healthy choices.

It was pumpkin investigation day in Mrs. Day’s Pre-K class! 🎃 Students learned about the parts of a pumpkin, how to use their 5 senses to describe the pumpkin, if it was heavy or light, and if it would float or sink in water. Students shared lots of great observations and couldn’t resist feeling the gooey parts inside!

From fun decorations and a Hawaiian-themed dress-up day to lots of amazing books, our recent book fair was full of fun and excitement!

💛 Mahalo to everyone who rounded up their purchases or donated to our Share the Fair fund! Your generosity helped put a book into the hands of every student in grades PK–4! 📖 What a wonderful way to share the love of reading!

🌴 A special thank you to our book fair volunteers, Tracey Young, Anna Newton, and Jessica Evans! They make shopping fun for our students while helping them choose books that fit their budgets.

Mr. Patton’s 4th grade science class built roller coasters out of pool noodles, tape, and skewer sticks. They had to release a marble and it make it through a loop, over a hill, and drop off the end. Each design was a test to see if the marble had enough kinetic energy to complete the course.

🚒🔥 Fire Safety Fun! 🧯🐾 A big thank you to the Pauls Valley Fire Department for visiting our school today! Students learned important fire safety tips, including Stop, Drop, and Roll, how to create a family fire escape plan, and even got to see a firefighter’s gear demonstrated with one of our very own students! Each student also received a fire safety kit to take home. Of course, the day was extra special with a surprise visit from Sparky the Fire Dog! 🐶❤️ Thank you, PVFD, for helping keep our students and families safe! ❤️🚒

Community yoga classes with Mylee are canceled this week and next due to parent/teacher conferences and fall break.

Yoga classes will resume on Monday, October 26, at 3:45pm.
