The fair will be open each school day and during parent/teacher conferences next Monday and Tuesday evening. We invite families to stop by and explore a great selection of books for all ages!

We'd like to send a special thank-you to Mrs. Capers, Mrs. Babcock, our Whitebead art students, Jessica Evans, and Cheyenne Casey for their creativity and hard work in transforming our library into a Minecraft-inspired world!

Starting tomorrow Whitebead will begin a district wide fundraiser. The form to get started is attached. A representative from the company will be here tomorrow morning to help get anyone set up. The money raised with this fundraiser will go to General Activity. This fund helps us support all students. From field trips to classroom supplies! Love to have your support!

TOMORROW IS HAT DAY!

👩‍🔬🎶 Mr. Patton’s 4th graders had fun building their own homemade noise makers! Using everyday items like rubber bands, cups, rulers, and paper clips, they predicted how the sound would change when the rubber band was strummed at different lengths. The class is exploring how sound travels through different materials and how it can be changed by manipulating their noise makers. A simple and safe project with big learning results!

Our Kindergarten students went on an adventure to explore Asia with Mrs. Ely. 🌏

Reminder: Individual picture retakes and softball pictures are scheduled for tomorrow morning.

Our 7th grade scientists put their investigation skills to the test today! 🧪 They explored how the physical properties of substances—like size, shape, and state of matter—can be used to separate a mixture.

Look at these Pre-K problem solvers! Mrs. Day’s class had some team-building STEM fun today. Students worked together to design apple trees using blocks, popsicle sticks, and erasers. 🍎🌳

6th grade Geography class enjoying some conchas while learning about Hispanic culture.

In honor of Johnny Appleseed’s birthday, Pre-K classes made their very own apple pies. The students shared their mini pies with a few lucky teachers, too! 🍎🥧

Mrs. Shippey and Mrs. Prieto's First Grade Classes have been learning about their community. As they have now built their classroom community, they are learning about the community around them. Special members of our community visited with them this week. Lieutenant Stephen Wilkerson from the Pauls Valley Fire Department spoke to them about being a firefighter, EMT, and his roles within our community. Laura Holloway visited with her show chickens and discussed the importance of properly caring for our animals. Sergeant Steven White from the Pauls Valley Police Department, along with our SRO Greg Roberson, visited yesterday with the students about the important role of a police officer within our community, being a firefighter, and read the students a book.
