Read Across America: Reading Makes You Bright!
Wednesday's theme is Reading Exercises Your Mind: Wear your best workout or sports gear.
Read Across America: Reading is everywhere!
March is National Nutrition Month, a time to focus on the importance of making informed food choices and developing healthy eating habits. This year's theme encourages individuals to celebrate the benefits of a balanced diet, explore new foods, and understand the role nutrition plays in overall health and well-being. Let’s use this month to educate ourselves, share knowledge, and inspire each other to make healthier choices that can lead to a vibrant and active lifestyle!

📚✨🎉 Get Ready for Read Across America Week!
We’re celebrating the joy of reading with a week full of fun dress-up days! Join us in making books come to life from March 3 - March 6.

Our Whitebead Art students are enjoying the generous donation of acrylic paints recently gifted to them from Pauls Valley artist Carrie Daly. In addition to the paints, Carrie donated a car load of canvases and a variety of other exciting supplies we look forward to using soon. An interesting coincidence is that on the very same day, a second donation was received from the family of Elisa Mynheir. Those donations included several boxes of new tempera paints, brushes and canvases. What a lucky day for Whitebead Art! We appreciate each of these families for supporting our Whitebead artists. Thank you!

Uplifting kindness quotes are used as a daily tool in Ms. Jared's class.

Whitebead will be in school tomorrow, Thursday Feb 20th. Low temperatures are a concern. Please make sure your student is properly dressed and has hats and gloves. If the low temperatures cause issues with vehicles or long waits for bus stops you may call the office and get an excused absence.
Due to excessive cold and hazardous driving conditions Whitebead Schools will continue virtual learning for Wednesday February 19th. Hope everyone is safe and warm. Bundle up!
Whitebead Schools will move to virtual learning for Tuesday February 18th. School work should have gone out Friday. If you have any questions please reach out to your child's teacher through the Rooms feature in our app. Please be safe and warm as hazardous weather moves in.
As a reminder Whitebead does not have school Monday Feb. 17th in observance of Presidents' Day.
There is a possibility of more winter weather next week. Your child may have received some work today. That is only in the event that we are out of school next week. Have a wonderful and warm weekend!
